Venus and Mars Shift Signs ~ 26 Mar 2019

Within the next week, two personal planets change signs.

Today, Venus enters Pisces. Venus likely prefers Pisces to other signs. Her transit in Pisces is like a long, luxurious soak in relaxing waters. Naturally Pisces drifts and floats allowing thoughts and priorities to swirl and shift. Actions might change midstream. It’s called going with the flow, and in such buoyancy, the essence of creativity receives more of an opportunity to flourish. Yes, Venus in Pisces will be a fertile interval in which creative pursuits, artistic endeavors and nonlinear realizations organically occur. The solution is to realize when it’s appropriate to daydream; and when full-on conscious attention is required.

Should a mundane task be at hand... operating machinery, downloading the latest computer update, driving a car... focus! Pay attention. Complete the task before allowing the mind to wander. Then, when reverie and mental reward time occur, sit back, stare at the clouds, gaze into the vastness of the night sky and muse to your heart’s content. Enjoy the creative inspirations. Record them in the place of your brain that is not inclined to forget, and as soon as possible get the ideas into conscious attention modes so something can be made from them... use Mercury to support Venus.

Though not a sign shift, Mercury returns to direct motion on 28 March, his preferred motion most of the time. Shifts occur following the messenger’s directional shift. As Mercury stations (stops from the relative motion point of view) then resumes movement there is a day or two of intensified communication chaos.

To be clear, from the Sun’s point of view, Mercury never moves backward. Mercury does not cause your printer to malfunction or the app to crash. Mercury does encourage a “hurry-up” mentality, and often causes a person’s preoccupation to interfere with the use of daily life checklists. Often the malfunctions of communication devices occur from impatience in their use. Similarly, when words get mixed and messages muddled, perhaps the antidote is to pause in advance of articulation to ensure what’s coming out of the mouth matches what formulates in the mind. So during the Mercury station, take a moment, take a breath, then reach to Mars for the impetus to get underway.

Mars hopscotches into Gemini on 31 March. While Mars and Venus both transit mutable signs stuff out there might seem scattered. However, Mars holds the agenda of applying energy to a given task for as long as appropriate. Should someone disassemble a lawnmower engine and encounter a stuck part, Mars will grunt and struggle to free it... until patience is lost. Then, the ideal protocol would be to shift attention to a different task. The mutability in the air would be one of those circumstances in which applying action to a different task, may reset the interest to unstick the stuck parts. Or take a break. Sit and allow thoughts to roll by. Perhaps in the rolling mental rumbles, an idea that would work to unstick the stuck parts slips into the mind without even being summoned... or at least remembering where the can of WD-40 was stashed so you can retrieve it and spray it on the lawnmower parts.

An agenda of Venus is to conceive - literally and figuratively. The throbbing urgency of Mars is to enact. If personal planets are applied in accord with the unconscious energy streams provided us from subtle, yet potent, energy sources originating outside the bounds of our solar system, then an extra beneficial result might arise from the transits.

As Venus and Mars move through the early degrees of their respective mutable sign transits, they oppose an array of black holes in Virgo (opposite for Venus in Pisces) and Sagittarius (opposite for Mars in Gemini). These black holes possess distinctive x-ray pulses which permit an in depth, deep dive look into matters at hand. Should that probing produce a conscious concept that can be applied to the mundane, great advancement becomes more and more likely as it moves within the ease of the prevailing energies.

Actually the “should”noted above can evolve into a clear modality of progress by applying one simple x-ray proclamation. One of the more notable pulses originating in this black hole array lasts 283 seconds (4 minutes, 43 seconds). When a new thought arrives, commit conscious attention to it for five minutes. Write down everything that comes to mind. Fully document and archive the gifts of galactic stimulation remaining dedicated to it for the prescribed duration of the x-ray pulse. Make it count.

From the downloaded morsel, go Venus. Create what you can from the idea wave. When creations coalesce into clear concepts and agendas, go Mars. Get it going. Take the first steps. While doing so. frequently return to the original inspiration for a comprehensive review. Should another idea arrive, give it the 283-second x-ray burst of attention it needs to formulate it fully. Repeat the process and stir up internal belief systems until consciousness is reinvigorated.

For the next week and half such energies stir collective fecundity. Those who absorb the planetary shifts and turns stand to be in the position of heightened readiness for the months ahead loaded up with ideas and agendas to apply with instinctive realization of when the moment is ripe. How great is that?

More soon.
